Ibadan Hybrid Power Plant is a bold step toward modernizing energy access in Oyo State. Combining a 10MW gas-fired plant with a 1MW solar photovoltaic system, and a 1MWh battery storage unit, this 11MW hybrid facility serves critical infrastructure such as the Government Secretariat, House of Assembly, healthcare facilities, and public lighting.

Designed to replace over 100 diesel generators, the power plant will reduce Oyo State's carbon footprint. It also addresses the state’s lighting needs, powering over 80 kilometers of streetlights and bolstering Ibadan's nighttime economy.

This innovative project, funded by ARM Harith, underscores Oyo State Government's commitment to sustainable growth, while demonstrating Nigeria's potential as an investment destination for clean energy.
